This is the first post on Southern Light. The site is built with Astro, served from GitHub Pages, and writes posts via labelled GitHub Issues.

Why a new blog?

Because the old one was Gridea-generated and I wanted something I could keep alive with the same workflow I already use: open an issue, label it, done.

What’s next?

Posts about backend systems, Ruby, occasional JavaScript, and the small tools I build along the way.
